Along the Garden Path

    Why it took so long for my love of gardening and stitching to come together: what do they call it on television, a cross-over event, I do not know. Here's my embroidery-gardening cross-over event.  I specialize in pollinator gardens where paths meander around a landscape. I took the same approach drawing where the imagined paths would be in this embroidered garden. 

I like this, but I already have learned many ways in which I would make a design like this better. This constant learning, always finding something new to explore, to learn, to build upon is true in gardening as well as embroidery. Isn't that wonderful? We will never run out of ways to grow: to keep ourselves engaged, active, vital, alive!
