On the Move
I almost forgot to post the after of the piece I introduced in the last post. Where is my head? I was getting ready to show you something new and different that I just finished and realized I was getting ahead of myself.
You know, between work, which I am happy to say I adore, all the gardens needing work, trying to get regular walks in and dealing with this new norm of the virus, it's easy to get distracted.

A question for you all: Are you feeling a bit beige or down? Is it difficult to launch into a new project, never mind trying something new, like embroidery? You're not alone. My nickname at work is Sunny and 85. Lately it's more like gray and 70. It takes a little more energy to start the day, the next task, even projects that I usually embrace with a ridiculous amount of energy. Be kind to yourself, if naps and binge watching a show for a day is what you need take a day off. But the the next day, suit up, put on your mascara, brew the coffee and get to it. Sometimes just starting is the hardest part and the rest of the day is OK.
Well, you are not here for my two-bit insights into mental well-being so back to stitches!
Honest look: I love, adore the dash marks in this pieces. They are light and fun and were enjoyable to make. I wish I would've left off one color band on the right side to make a space between the bands and the frame. With each new piece we learn.
How are you pieces coming? Remember, the only person they have to please is you!
